Our main technologies

Injection

IMPRODEX’s core specialization for over 35 years. Production is carried out on sixty modern Arburg and Sumitomo-Demag injection molding machines, handling components weighing from a few grams to several kilograms. The machines include conventional, electric, hybrid, and vertical units.

Overmolding

Overmolding/insert molding is a plastic injection process in which a finished component (e.g., metal or other plastic) is first placed in the injection mold and then overmolded with another material—plastic or elastomer. During the injection molding machine cycle, the plasticized material precisely surrounds the insert, creating a durable, precise, and functional connection between the two components in a single part.

2K technology

2K technology (two-component injection molding) is an injection molding process in which two different materials (e.g., two plastics or plastic + elastomer) are injected in a single production cycle. These materials are permanently bonded during the process to form a single finished part with different properties—e.g., a hard body and a soft seal or grip element.

Gas-foamed injection (MuCell®)

Next-generation technology that reduces part weight, improves dimensional stability, and lowers material costs. We have been using it in production on 500- and 800-ton machines since 2018.

Design and manufacture of injection molds

We comprehensively manufacture injection molds tailored to the technological, quality, and performance requirements of mass production.

Ultrasonic welding

We perform ultrasonic welding for permanent joining of plastic components, maintaining full quality control and process repeatability.

Printing

In a separate department, we perform pad printing and hot stamping (single – and multicolor).

Visual inspection and assembly

Each detail undergoes visual inspection and final assembly of components in accordance with customer specifications. We have special stations with dedicated lighting and a selection order monitoring system.

Technology, people, quality

Behind our success are qualified specialists, a team of designers, technologists, and machine operators who supervise every stage of the process. Thanks to their experience and continuous improvement of processes, we maintain quality confirmed by ISO certificates and positive customer audit results.
