Tradition, innovation and Polish ownership

Trust over 35 years of experience

We started in a garage, with a small workshop and big ambitions. Today, we are one of Poland’s leading plastic injection molding companies, with complete infrastructure — our own tool shop, an advanced machine park and a strong team of engineers and technicians.

1990

Establishment of BWS Improdex

Stefan Bułka Senior founded BWS IMPRODEX in his home in Czechowice-Dziedzice, a company engaged in trade, manufacturing and services.

1994

Purchase of the first injection molding machine

Family members became shareholders of the company. After the purchase of the first KuASY injection molding machine, production of simple curtain rod components was launched.

1996

Five machines at Improdex

The company already had five machines and was mainly producing curtain rod components such as clips, hooks, rings and brackets.

1997

Relocation

Due to the increase in production, the company moved to a new location. The management board leased old premises from PSS Społem, a local Polish consumer co-operative, and began their renovation.

1999

Purchase of the plot

Stefan Kazimierz Bułka, President of the company, purchased a 1.5-hectare plot from the coal-fired CHP plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice with the future construction of the company’s headquarters in mind.

2006

Improdex in a new location

Completion of the largest investment in the company’s history. Improdex moved into its new 1,700 headquarters, including a production hall, warehouse, tool shop and office space.

2010

High-bay warehouse and the household appliance industry

Construction of a self-supporting high-bay warehouse. Launch of production for the household appliance industry.

2016

Own tool shop

2018

Quality Award and Software Upgrade

Improdex received its fourth quality award from Nexteer Automotive for exceptional quality among Nexteer suppliers. The company also began construction of a new production hall and implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV together with the ALS system for injection molding machine supervision.

2019

Farewell to the Company’s Founder

Farewell to Stefan Kazimierz Bułka – a remarkable and charismatic man with passion and vision, who built Improdex in challenging times, fulfilling one of his greatest dreams.
