In September we have started the cooperation with ifm electronic placed at Opole - the company which deals with wide range of products for industrial automation. After an exceptional result of the audit (97%) IFM has nominated Improdex to complex realisation of 5 new plastic components. At the moment we are making the tools for this project, which is planned to be finalised till December 2017.

Below the production floor, which is currently under construction, we are installing the shell-and-tube ground heat exchanger. It will be covered with sand and gravel, then further layers will be made up to industrial concrete floor. The air is flowing thrugh the shells and tubes thus having the surface contact with the ground it makes it possible to achieve relatively "cold" air (17-18 C) during hot summer days and relatively "hot" air (2-5 C) at winter time. The exchanger will supply the fresh air into the efficient ventilation unit and in consequence the comfort and the temperature inside the production floor will improve to a large degree, especially during hot summer days.

As a part of the co-financed European union 3.2 project  for small and medium-size companies, entitled "development of innovative components made by using gas injection process", we have purchased a new Zeiss Contura RDS 3D machine with measurement range of X 700 mm / Y 1000 mm / Z 600 mm. The machine has open-type construction, stable granite table, it is equipped with scanning and measuring ball head and swivel-pivot joint. It is the second 3D unit in our company, however this one is bigger, more precise and has more user-friendly Zeiss Calypso software. It is a very good supplement of our current 3D machine and will serve for big plastic parts and more demanding components as far as measurment technology is concerned.

As a part of the co-financed European union 3.2 project for small and medium-size companies, entitled "development of innovative components made by using gas injection process", we have purchased a new scanner produced in Poland by Evatronix company. Sending the blue light it gathers the cloud of reference points from the plastic part. The points are transferred into the Geo Magic Control X sofrware where further quality measurement control is carried out. Additionally the scanner may work with reverse engineering Geo Magic Design X software for making some inserts or tools` spare parts, especially suitable for those tools where technical documentation is not available. The scanner is a perfect supplement for our measurement laboratory.

Improdex has purchased a new Arburg machine with 350 tons clamping force. It is the sixth big machine in our stock to produce medium and big-size plastic components.

It is a next step of the company development. In the future this machine will be placed and used in our new big-size machine production hall, which is currently under construction
